Civil Trial Litigation

Civil litigation is a legal dispute between two or more parties that seek money damages or specific performance rather than criminal sanctions. A lawyer who specializes in civil litigation is known as a “litigator” or “trial lawyer.”  When a person begins a civil lawsuit, the person enters into a process called litigation. Under the various rules of Civil Procedure that govern actions in state and federal courts, litigation involves a series of steps that may lead to a court trial and ultimately a resolution of the matter. Lawyers who practice civil litigation represent parties in trials, hearings, arbitrations and mediations before federal, state and local courts. Civil litigation encompasses a broad range of disputes of which civil litigators generally specialize in one or two specific practice areas.

At Terence Redmond Law, we specialize primarily, although not exclusively, in the areas of Personal Injury, Business Disputes and Real Estate Litigation.
